About the Natchathiravanam Initiative

Natchathiravanam is a specialized tree plantation program where trees are planted on behalf of donors, often dedicated to specific stars (Nakshatras), individuals, or special occasions.

All funds collected under this initiative are used exclusively for land preparation, sapling procurement, planting, irrigation, maintenance, and community awareness activities.

Donations & Payments

• Voluntary Contributions: All donations made to the Trust for the Natchathiravanam project are purely voluntary.
• Payment Processing: Donations are processed securely via third-party payment gateways. The Trust is not responsible for errors or issues arising from gateway failures, though we will make reasonable efforts to help resolve payment discrepancies.
• Tax Exemptions: If applicable, tax exemption certificates (e.g., under Section 80G in India) will be issued based on the details provided by the donor at the time of payment.

Plantation & Ownership

• No Land Ownership Rights: Donating towards planting a tree does not grant the donor any legal ownership, title, or rights over the land where the tree is planted.
• Tree Ownership: The planted trees remain the property of the Trust or the partner landowning authority (e.g., forest departments, schools, public parks, private land partners).
• Planting Schedule: While we aim to plant saplings within 30–60 days of receiving a donation, plantation dates may vary depending on seasonal weather, soil conditions, and sapling availability.
• Tagging & Naming: Donors may receive a photo/digital certificate with the name dedicated to the tree. Physical tags attached to trees are subject to natural wear and tear.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

• Non-Refundable: Because donations are immediately allocated towards logistics, saplings, and site preparation, all donations are strictly non-refundable.
• Exceptions: In the event of duplicate transactions caused by a technical glitch, please contact us within 7 days with payment proof, and we will process a refund for the duplicate amount.

Maintenance & Tree Survival

The Trust commits to nurturing and maintaining saplings to maximize survival rates.

Force Majeure: Nature is unpredictable. The Trust is not liable for the loss or damage of saplings due to natural calamities, extreme weather conditions, wildlife activity, pests, or vandalism. In such cases, the Trust will attempt to replant saplings during the next planting cycle subject to fund availability.

Intellectual Property & Media

All content on this website (logos, project names including "Natchathiravanam", images, videos, and written material) is the property of the Trust.

Photos or videos taken during plantation drives may be used by the Trust for promotional, educational, or reporting purposes on our website and social media channels.

Limitation of Liability

The Trust shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our website or participation in the donation program.

Amendments to Terms

The Trust reserves the right to modify or update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The updated version will be effective immediately upon being posted on this website.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kumarapalayam / Namakkal, Tamil Nadu.
