Tracing our charitable genesis, environmental stewardship, and national commitment to sacred Natchathiravanam sanctuaries.
"Preserving Heritage. Protecting Nature. Inspiring Generations. Eedhal Foundation bridges ancestral Indian botanical wisdom with scientific ecological restoration."
Established in 2016, EEDHAL FOUNDATION is a registered non-profit charitable trust dedicated to environmental protection, cultural heritage preservation, and selfless social service.
Over the years, the Foundation has spearheaded humanitarian campaigns across Tamil Nadu and neighboring states. Today, Eedhal is mobilizing local communities, families, educational institutions, and corporate CSR partners through its flagship initiative—Natchathiravanam / Nakshatra Vanam.
We believe climate action becomes enduring when rooted in deeply held traditional values. In ancient Indian heritage, each of the 27 birth stars (Nakshatras) corresponds to a specific sacred tree.
By enabling families to identify and sponsor their guardian birth star trees, we convert a simple donation into a personal, emotional, and generational bond with nature.
Our trees are planted and nurtured under professional forestry care with precise astrological coordinate mapping.
Our initial flagship project site spans a pristine 210-acre ecological zone in the Megamalai foothills, serving as a biodiverse sanctuary for native flora and wildlife.
Expanding into Western Ghats bio-corridors, our Iritty preserve nurtures native medicinal and sacred species tailored to humid tropical forest layers.
A timeline reflecting Eedhal's path from a localized trust in Tamil Nadu into a multi-state ecological force.
Eedhal Foundation is established as a public charitable trust, driving grassroots social welfare, youth education, and community planting drives.
We combined ancient Vedic botanical scriptures with empirical forestry to inaugurate Natchathiravanam on a 210-acre reserve in Megamalai, Theni.
Expanding operational presence with regional hubs across Chennai, Coimbatore, and Trichy while extending sanctuary groves into Kerala and beyond.
